Unfortunately you just bought the hardest color to keep clean in the history of colors.

Keep it inside unless its sunny and the temp is between 60-80. Or wrap it. Or drive it, because its a truck.

Heavy wax can help with rain and dirt, so it wont stick.
Just FYI...there is no such thing as 'heavy' wax. Waxes these days are almost all synthetic (or at least what anyone should be using) and it's a VERY thin layer that gets applied. Just want to clarify...

Quality PPF with a quality install is well worth the money IMO. I personally wouldn't spend the money on an $80k truck for it but I have and will continue to do so on other "higher" end cars. In your case, I would have it paint corrected and then ceramic coated with scheduled washes. It is a truck and if you're daily'ing it, there is no way to keep it pristine.

if money is no object, Id wrap it with expel. I wouldn't waste money on ceramic coatings but thats just my opinion. Ceramic will scratch, swirl and gain and show imperfections all the same as clear coat. Ceramic also will not protect against heavy scratches or rock chips as PPF can. Finally if/when your ceramic looks terrible and you'd want to correct it, its got to be removed completely which is a large cumbersome process. My truck is black, and it gets a good wax. I take pride when washing, with a foam pre soak, quality tools and a two bucket method. Trucks finish is pristine.

good luck!

100% Xpel 10 mil PPF, all of my cars from Porsche Macan, GT4, Model Y, and my Huracan I do full wraps and they stay pristine for years to come... this is the only way if you're OCD about a black vehicle, I would also look at Xpel stealth

Post some examples, but only the GT4 and Huracan.
