explain to me what the point is of coating something just to be able to coat it again? im a little lost here...... ive seen guys on this forum do it to wheels, flares emblems etc. i have a couple of other more permanent solutions in mind. am i missing something here?

I was curious... After painting rear emblem, I wanted to see what it would do to the plastic chrome.. Yep, I am a dork...

I like the idea of being able to just peel it off if I get tired of it, or if it gets a rock chip I can just peel it off and buy another can for $7 and spray it again.
