Oh and .... They didn't need to remove the frickn antenna with plyers to get the plastic piece!!!!

Are you sure the antenna mast wasn’t already like that?

I ask because this part is notorious for coming loose, then dancing its way up the antenna. Mine has been as high as within a foot of clearing the antenna before I noticed and could stop. It’s happened to me at least half a dozen times within the last couple of years.

Yes I'm sure. There are gouges in the base of the mast where the teeth from the plyers were used to loosen it.

Well, that's just bizarre. WTF. Can't afford a raptor, so steal the antenna cover ? Makes no sense at all.

Interesting you mentioned that. On Craigslist I have seen the Ford panel that is an option on Raptors as well. I wonder if lowlifes are just pulling them off tailgates?
