go online, get a quote, print it out. when you buy your raptor, show it to the finance person, ask them to match or beat it.

I got mine from Flood.

Did just that, went online, got quote, printed and when buying my Raptor with the finance guy, he couldn't touch it. I even told him if he was just $100 higher, I would buy it now and add it to the loan. He let me walk just getting the truck. Buying online was cheaper which I did 9 months later. Granted it was something I paid after the fact. Got a PremuimCare 125k mile / 7yr with $200 deductible for $1625. Its the cheapest before 12k miles if you buy it afterwards. After 12k it goes up around $100 with Flood.

It looks like Flood is quoting the 2017

does anyone know what the time vs. refund on these plans are? is it per dealer discretion or does ford mandate / have some scientific ratio they use to refund them?

Thank you for sharing this link. I'm now considering either the extended warranty and/or the premium service plan as well. Might be nice to know I purchased all my service requirements up front.

Never have,, usually don't keep them long enough. However, have kept my 2011 longer than any other truck. Knock on wood, no real problems

Oh I buy the longest and most comprehensive I can find. Always. One every vehicle.

The cost of BASIC repairs on these rolling computers makes up for the cost of the warranty. No doubt.

I am thinking if I get the 7 year/ 100k warranty, there will be many upgrades in the current model at that time.

When it comes to mods. I am planning on doing whatever roush (performance) upgrades they make available. Since, most likely, it will be approved by ford, like the previous ones, then the warranty wont be an issue.

Most Roush upgrades are warrantied by Roush and only if installed by an authorized installer. Ford is not going to warranty Roush parts.

I was wondering about the Roush upgrades how that effects extended warranties. I would think it would void any Ford warranties and only the 3 year 36K Roush warranty would be good.
Any Gen 1 Roush owners reading this that can chime in.

I was also wondering how installing aftermarket bumpers like ADD effect warranties? Or maybe some Stage 3 shocks etc...

Thanks for posting the ext. warranty links

I can't see bumpers making any difference at all. Shocks would only, I would think, void the suspension warranty etc.
