Great thread. Thanks for the info. Interesting to read the positives and negatives. I like the new display and manual shift button.

Great Write-up, and I throw my Hat in with the SoCo Mech and TeamFordRaptor.

Gheez-O-Pete Froggie... nice to see you haven't changed! Quit confusing the matter with the facts, will ya?? <GG>

I like all the upgrades except for the black face gauges, I think the white ones look much better.

I like the back lit better then the white faced gauges. At first I wasn't sure but daytime visibility is MUCH better.

I hate it when people say things that are ignorant... what can I say?

Hey Chad, can you explain how the turn signals actually work? My guess is a light tap returns the lever back to center and gets you the three blinks. But with a full click it works like a normal turn signal where the lever stays off center and the lights blink until the turn is completed (or you manually return the lever to center.)

I just don't believe Ford would put in a turn signal that keeps blinking for a mile if you accidentally hit it.

When I drove a 2011 F-150 its tap for 3 blinks and full click for normal blinker but both return to center IIRC. I'm pretty sure it won't blink for a mile its probably gets commanded to turn off after a certain distance or time by the BCM. You have to apply a little more effort to get to go to the full click.

Given a slight push of the stalk results in an automatic 3 blinker clicks of the turn signal. The German cars like BMW & M-B have this and maybe others do too as it's becoming more common.

A full push results in a continuous blinker. I don't know if it's a mechanical switch or an electronic switch which could self-cancel (the mechanical one won't except when a turn in the direction of the blinker is made).
