Picking up a 2012 Raptor Monday

So I decided it is time to sell my fully build 2008 Corvette Z06 and get something a little more practical to drive but equally as bad ass and EPA unfriendly lol

Any things I should know about the truck ?

also what are some mods you guys are doing?

only thing u need to know about the truck is its awesome!

as far as mods it depends what u r looking to do with it. no matter what u r gonna wanna do something about the terrible light output of the headlights. check out raptor retrofit on the right side. his lights are some of the best out there if not the best. most guys do exhaust too cuz stock it is very quiet. personally i think CAI, tune, exhaust, and headlights are a must. if u r planning on hitting jumps look into RPG or SDHQ for frame stiffeners, springs, bumpstops, etc... this site is full of great info and people. search around and u will find all the answers u need

Yeah coming form a 700 hp Z I'm going to do cold air headers exhaust and a tune. I was looking on eBay and they have some BMW style projectors for like 400 bucks.

those recon or spyder headlights suck badly. light ouput is bad and the condensate. look into a retrofit they r top quality and and have incredible output. also they are custom made so u can set them up anyway u want. i will be getting them once i save up some coin and make a decision on how i want them

Got ya, I figured they were too good to be true. How much do those lights you're talking about run?

they r not cheap but u get what u pay for

Nice, glad I am not the only one. Any regrets, I know I am going to miss the speed, but I am excited about the drivability of this truck.

Plus everyone is Fort Worth has Corvettes, I have only seen one other Raptor
