What is the base you put in the dash tray? Built right , bullet point? I’m trying to decide what to get for a 2014 that won’t vibrate. They both look pretty sturdy , but a phone at the end of one of those arms seems like it would vibrate a little

Built-right mount. You won't have vibrating, especially if you leave that rubber mat in the tray and drill the mount into it.

I use 67 Designs for mounts and arms, and lately have been running the Peak Designs magnetic mount (big thumbs up!).

Have you seen the Course Motorsports mount? It can be mounted under your dash using one of the bolts and you can get a magnetic, MagSafe (charging or not) or cradle. I just got one off Amazon as I had purchased it for another one of my cars and really like it.
