Can the interface be skinned at all? The icons are pretty ugly.

I think I’m gonna go for it. Volume knob be damned. I think if I ultimately regret it because of that, someone here would probably gladly take it off my hands.

On the other hand, I also wonder if waiting a year would be wise to see what else comes to market. OLED perhaps?

I agree...it might be possible if they're allowing us to change the Raptor on the bottom screen and the city backgrounds on the other views. @Guy or @BIGDJE, since you guys are in contact with Phoenix, you think we'd be able to come up with custom skins?

Your only limit is that of your ability I think. See that xda thread. People are doing all sorts of stuff.

They have a ton of units for all different car audio applications... I don’t know how much individual customization you are going to get, but they do take requests. I asked for custom cut screen protector.

So much for getting a bumper, wheels, lights, or an exhaust any time soon. Think I’d prefer this over those anyways (and it’s the cheapest).
