Yeah, let me know when they start coming in the kit and when the music buttons on the steering wheel work then I’ll place my order.

Seems on the other thread one fella just received his with a cable long enough to allow for the Sync3 module to be right side up.

Yup that was me. Will be setting apps up tomorrow and testing when I can. Will post in the PX6 thread as I do things and my results or issues found.

Just to clarify on the longer cable fix. What did we install upside down when we installed our units? The module on the back of the screen? Is the cable inserted upside down? Is that what is causing the issues? Just trying to clarify what we are supposed to correct when and if we get the longer cords.

Yes, the short cable required you to mount the GPS module upside down previously.

If I read correctly, it was a customer who suggested that was causing a host of problems. Turns out he was right!

I never heard anything back from these guys.
I had spoken to one of the guys there a week ago and he said it was going to be about 20 days from then. So that would be approximately 10-14 days from now when they should be ready.

I received my PX6 unit a few days ago and it had the longer cable in it. Another member received theirs 1-2 days ago and it had the shorter/older version of the cable. So for new shipments it is hit or miss on which you will get. I imagine that the first to get it will be the PX6 orders and then they should/hope they have them available to ship to everyone with PX3 and PX6 units that need them to fix the factory nav issues.
