This processor scores decent on a geek bench and the ram is double. I anticipate no further quirky waze issues folks are having and the user experience will be thru the roof.

Bluetooth 5 is huge as well. And it’s a Qualcomm module... not a junk one.

If the factory nav is still jacked up then the upgrade isn’t worth it (for me). I don’t even use factory nav but it also interferes with iOS maps gps if I plug into CarPlay. But yeah the hardware is leaps better. Do we know if it has better screen resolution? Hopefully Netflix/Hulu/Vudu work on this model.

I ordered one today. My previous unit has been 100% solid. I didnt however see a place to enter a discount code. I looked through all of the the checkout screens and no box was visible. Maybe the promo expired?

I will sell my gen 3 unit for Sync 3 with auto AC to anyone for 500$ if they are interested. It works great, no issues at all.

My unit went out during an update, talked with tech support and it was determined to be bricked. It did show power to the unit and the Bluetooth was working somewhat, but very distorted and displayed nothing. Tried a usb format but no luck.
They’ve sent a replacement unit but I haven’t installed it yet. Hope it’s a px6, but doubt it. Overall I like the device, still a few quirky issues, but plan to keep it.

You keep saying that but if you want to run CARPLAY through the unit, which I do, you need the nav to work.

Recently returned my 2nd unit due to a flaw in the screen....before I was even able to replace the 1st unit. I also asked about the PX6 and it is available, but its not a fastboot system, but does have more memory capacity. He indicated it wasn't necessarily a better unit, just v8.x of android
