I just purchased a 2014 Raptor, Tuxedo Black, and was curious what your opinions are regarding air intake systems, exhaust, and other performance upgrades. Looking to get up to 500rwhp...

Moved to Performance Mods forum as this is NOT 2014 specific.
This topic has been well covered by many other posts. I would start with those.

Everyone is right. Intake, exhaust, and tune will maybe get you to 460ish to the crank. Now if you Whipple like I did(because all the other stuff was not enough), then you can be at 550ish to REAR wheel. HUGE difference. But I will say the first 3 things, plus mid-perch make the truck much more fun to drive. You will notice a big difference.

Port intake manifold (or go custom) and heads, increase compression ratio, increase intake tube and throttle body flow, custom high flow headers and mufflers (or just leave the mufflers off), and good custom start to finish reprogram, I wouldn't be surprised with 500 rwhp if you did all that, but it would be easier to just do a supercharger

Supercharger would be the easiest and cheapest way. U could also go twin turbo but that's not as easy or cheap as SC. Personally if I had the money I would go Whipple with the upgraded heat exchanger and fans along with long tube headers, mid pipe and cat back

Has anyone shown what that hp loss or difference is between the flywheel and rwhp? Some of you are talking big numbers at the rear wheels that seem like would be 700 at the flywheel or possibly in that range. Not sure stock internals are going to take that, especially those cast pistons.
