Raptor drivetrain losses are 18-22%, 500 rear wheel horsepower would be around 620 flywheel horsepower, Whipple's supercharger system makes around 660 flywheel horsepower

Full bolt ons, cams and a tune will net you about 400rwhp. No idea what a higher compression 6.6 na build would get you, but maybe close. Your only "real" option for 500+rwhp is some form of forced induction. I'm a turbo guy, but I haven't seen a kit for our trucks that really catches my eye.

Thanks guys, that's what I was figuring. Whipple it is. Now i just have to figure out what parts i can put on my truck legally. It seems to be a pain in the ass to find parts that are legal in California. I can find parts for my GT500 with no issue but for this truck it seems like a pain.

Do the Whipple and leave the stock exhaust and you won't have any legal problems.
Stock exhaust is working out fine for me.
Give Whipple a call talk to Mike for sales.
And if you want to go with headers don't you have six years before your first inspection?

The Whipple is awesome. Just be sure to get a custom tune after. Big difference. Trust me. The headers and exhaust are great as well, but I understand the crazy Cali peeps and their regulations. That's why I live in Texas!!

I know none of us bought this truck for fuel efficiency, but with 37" M/T's i get like 10mpg, wondering what a whipple would do to me, not sure I can justify beating up my gas mileage any more than I already have.

That all depends on the Tune.
Right now I'm at 11.7 at 70% highway and 30% street. With Whipple's SCT Tune.

And without changing gears, 37s will hurt mpg. You're bogging down the engine forcing you step on the gas more to get to same speed.

I found the Whipple stock tune to be way too rich. Really did not let the truck loose. Got a custom one(JDM) and full exhaust. I am still at 12.3 mpg. Same as before I started all the upgrades. Truck is muck faster and more powerful now.
