can i adjust my cabmer by pulling in the lower control arms?

Yes, it can be done, but not right imo. Its how I adjusted mine before I got a kit. The weight must be off the front wheel being adjusted otherwise the weight of the truck will push the arms out as soon as the bolts are loosened. But theres a couple reasons why skipping the kits and doing it this way isn't desirable. For one its a pain in the ass, and two when you're re-tighten the front control arms they are at full droop. This keeps the control arm bushings in a slight bind when you lower the truck back to ride height. It's not good as it leads to premature wear. With the kits you can make the adjustments, and tighten everything down with the weight on the arms; keeping the bushings happy and making life way easier. Plus I think the kits hold the arms in alignment better (if you off road hard).

after going to the top perch i noticed that i cant turn as sharp a i used to. i have an 11’ with the offroad gauge deal, and my wheels used to turn to 40 degrees and now they only go to 38. not much but will this change after i get an alignment?..

You might get a little more turning radius back after the alignment if some positive camber is added. But you wont get it all back since you changed the relationship between the steering knuckle and the lower control arm. Basically making the steering locks a shorter distance apart.

On thing I don't like about leveling these trucks is you take some width from the front tires. The high you go the more you take. Longer adjustable upper control arms could help this by allowing you to pull your lower arms all the way out.

I did the middle perch and haven't had any problems with it. I will be doing the top perch mod when I have the wheels off for powder coat.

Are you guys re-adjusting your headlights after doing these mods? I'm only on the middle perch and I feel like I am blinding people.

Blinding people?.... with the stock shit headlamps?.... your kidding.

haha.. I know what you mean by shit headlamps but people still think my brights are on because of the angle of the lights. I get "headlight" flashed all the time.

Bird, one other thing to clarify something you may have implied earlier is that no matter which way you choose (perch mod or leveling kit) it will still affect the camber in the same way. I checked today with the alignment tech I mentioned and he did adjust the camber by way of the lower control arm. Pirate's info on the camber kits is interesting though and am sure they were not used. Will have to check into getting some.

Are the spacer kits as high as the top perch? would it really throw the camber off as much?

Depends on which one lifts the truck the highest. The one with the highest lift will affect the camber, caster and toe the most. Its just the nature of the beast; that pretty well goes for any independent front suspension systems. Yesterday I installed a FR3 handling kit on a GT500. Lowered the car 1.25" resulting in excessive negative camber, it has to be corrected with strut tower adjustment alignment plates.
