Alignment is good n steering wheel on center but I'm still going to take it in on Friday just to check the alignment

Did my mid perch tonite and Im kickn myself for not doing it sooner.Looks soooooo much better and the ride ? I think it improved it...seriously.I can definately tell a differance in a positive way.Front end feels more "stout".

As for the alignment...I have put some thought into this and Im NOT going to the alignment shop. Here's why :

When you do the mid perch adjustment WITHOUT removing the shocks, the only fasteners you touch are the swaybar and tie-tod to remove them.

Compressing the spring and moving its mounting position up isnt changing the alignment. All this does is change the ride height. Now if I removed the upper/lower shock bolts then yea it will change the caster/camber,toe-in

I test drove my truck afterwards and NOTHING has changed.Steering wheel is straight, doesnt drift or pull either way and I let go of steering wheel over an 1/8 mile bridge that is flat and it tracked straight like it has since day one.I have read that others who took their trucks to alignment shop say its dead-on....thats because the adjustment hardware was not touched.

Thanks to all who have posted info regarding this mod...it helped me out.

Yes, it will affect toe... As you adjust the preload, it raises the the front end. As the front end rises, it will cause the tie rods to toe in the tires.. The higher you go the more toe in you will have..

Disclaimer :Not trying to argue or be a know-it-all..........

But It only raised the front end 1" ( measured from bottom of wheel to bottom of flare ) I just cant see it changing that much but..... I will keep an eye on the tire wear and report back. Thanks !!

It won't make that much of a difference, it is when you go top perch, that it pulls the toe out of spec...
