Down in Englewood....basically around Santa Fe and Oxford. here's the website: High Country Performance 4x4 Denver, Colorado Parts and Maintenance for 4x4 Vehicles

I was half watching the dude through the shop window while I was there. When he finished up installing the lines (before flushing and bleeding) he sprayed something all under my truck from a can. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was. Then, after bleeding and backing it out of the bay (but before taking it for the test drive) he took a high pressure hose to the undercarriage.

When paying, I told the mechanic and cashier that I noticed what he was doing and I asked if that was a teflon spray of some sort. He mentioned it was brake 'cleaner' that is water soluable after a brake job. hence the high pressure hose down afterward.

Above and beyond or standard practice?

Why in the world did he have the brake lines open?! Absolutely no need for that to do this and you may have paid more in labor for it. Otherwise, yes, brake clean is a mechanics best friend and often used to clean up even the slightest of mess. You really don't even have to clean it off as it usually just evaporates on it's own. But wiping down afterwards is a nice thing to do.

No jumps. Yet. But, just the stance alone is worth it. No more nose-down driving, nose-dipping into turns, etc. Feels like it should in some odd way. I'll get profile pictures shortly.

I had them install the stainless, braided brake lines at the same time they were doing the perch. Is that what you mean? 290 out the door for installing customer provided brakes lines, flushing with DOT4 blue and perch mod.
