I tried to go mid perch yesterday but I failed. I am on bottom perch and have the Geiser Bros springs on. The springs being they are progressive have the coils so tight at the perch that you have to go up to about the 5th coil with the compressor. I cannot get enough compression of the spring to even get close. Has anyone been successful at going mid with these springs already installed? I think the coil over will have to come off the truck and onto the bench for me to go to mid.

Yeah, I think you will probably have to take the whole deal off the truck. I also have Gieser Bros springs and at bottom perch as of now. I could see what your saying about the coils being too close together to use a spring compressor.

If you don't mind, post how you like the Gieser Bros springs at mid. I want to go to 37's soon and I know the extra height would come in handy, I just really love the ride on bottom and hope that going mid doesn't effect the ride too much. Best of Luck man!

Rotated my tires today and while doing so got a good look at what was involved with doing the (on truck) mid perch adjustment.

The one thing I couldn't find is the set screw in the blue spring retainer. Anyone know exactly where its located?

Thanks in advance...

It's hidden behind the spring. Mine was opposite the SVT sticker on the collar. You'll have access to it when you compress the spring.....

There's lots of discussion on sway bar removal. Search it and do a little bit of reading and see what all the hardcore desert people had to say. I personally have mine off. I'm on mid perch though but I think it's way better. At least for the type of driving I do. If you have a little extra time one day just take it off and drive around. See if you like it. If not, slap it back on there. I didn't even have to put a jack under my truck when I removed it.

If you have 3.0's or better you don't need the sway bars but highway you notice barely but not enough to even matter.
