I had something similar happen last winter... no damage, just someone decided to leave a nice little note under my windshield wiper.

The next day I went to Sams Club and bought a REVO 16 Channel DVR with 16 cameras and I wired those things up in my house over the next couple of weeks. It was one of the best investments I have ever made. I can stream all 16 cams to any computer and view them on my cell phone at any time.

Should be standard equipment for any house if/when you have any nice things at all.

That my friend, was caused by the handlebar of a bike...

When you do get the cameras, just make sure you turn them off, when you are beating the crap out of the little Punk ASS thug.... You don't want it go viral on YouTube, while you are making some lawyer rich defending your ASS. Other words, CYA!

Beating the crap out of some little Punk will land you in jail. Thats a crappy picture but yes most likely the handlebars of some kid doing a U-turn in your driveway. Most likely if you had a camera you'd be in a fight with the parents but never be compensated, seen this play out before.

I had the same system for surveillance installed on all four corners of the house I used to live in- also cameras at the front entrances.

It works very well but often times the people scratching cars are immature fools and they don't get deterred by cameras. They take it as a challenge.

But actually if you get them on camera you can take it to the police- often they'll have a record from other delinquencies and the Police are glad to arrest them on new offenses...

But you definitely don't want to punch any kid or approach the parents- cause it will cost you more in lawyer retainer fees than to just repair the scratches

^Ugh doubt it, depending on if where this happened is where I think it is on the truck.

I washed and waxed my truck this past Friday, it sat parked in front of my house all day Saturday and when we went to use it on Sunday my wife noticed a ding and 2 deep scratches on the passenger side just below the lip of the tonneau and above the wheel well

...

That's got to be one hella tall ******* bike to leave scratches like that. Just saying.

Here's a pic with my bike next to the truck. I don't think a bike could have done this without contacting in more places and doing more damage as the damage is at the highest and narrowest part of the bed and a good 6 to 8 inches higher than your average bike handlebar.

The sad part is I have the only house on a one way street and my truck was the only thing parked on the street all weekend, I think this was more than a random happening.

I would put it in my garage but both bays are full so it's Street parking for me till I can move out of this ******** city. The county i live in has the second highest crime rate in the state and I'm only a few blocks from the hood so it's only a matter of time till things get worse here. So it looks like security cameras will be my next step.

You know what would be cool?

If you could somehow have the Raptor electrified...so anyone who touches it while it is "activated" would be fried a little. Just fantasizing.

Time to clean out your garage.

I couldn't stomach spending $45k on a vehicle and leaving it outside. If it didn't fit in my garage I wouldn't have bought it.

That was a requirement for me as well. Being able to park in the garage was a must. Even at that I have had my tailgate keyed in the parking lot of a shopping center. The only negative of a raptor is they are far too noticeable in a crowd which I believe is the only reason mine got keyed.

^Amen brother, but see even for me back home this sure as hell ain't fittin' in no ordinary garage. Its nice that builders nowa days are making garages a little higher and wider than old standards like 15 years ago but what worked for me was...

Making it abundantly clear I'm a 2nd Amendment worshipin' hick w/ about a hundred or two-hundred thousand grains of lead I've been itchin' to let fly seated nice and pretty like in arms reach at the garage.
