I agree that at times off the line the truck doesn’t respond as quickly as I thought it would. I’ve always chalked it up to Turbo Lag (I’ve never had a vehicle with a Turbo of any kind).

If you think you want a Pedal Commander, there are a 100 of them for sale used. People buy them and then later add a tune and no longer need them. You really can't get hurt with a used one unless they beat it with a hammer.

I run Sport mode much of the time but I have a Pedal Commander and love it for those times when MOAR POWER

After having the truck for 9 months now I've gotten used to having it react like it does in normal mode. I had to get used to how much you need to roll into the throttle if you want to really move out. I keep the start/stop shut off, and I like sport mode down in the cities if I'm in the mood to be a little stupid. It makes me laugh the way some of my bikes have! Out here in the boonies, sport is annoying to me, because of how it holds onto gears unnecessarily for the driving I'm doing.

I really love this truck every time I drive it. When I was first shopping around, I was on the fence about dropping so much coin for it, but I'm so glad I did.

Exactly how I feel. Sport mode is too aggressive for around town driving unless you want to have some fun. It holds gears excessively way too long for average driving. I can see jumping whoops or needing constantly R’s on hand to move through tough off roading terrain. It’s just not so great for constant on road use. Hey unless you like over working your equipment needlessly.

just get a tune...it fixes everything. From throttle feel to transmission shifting patterns.

Cobb tuner let’s you adjust the throttle like the pedal commander does, but also wakes the truck up a ton. Just a thought.
