Okay, I actually haven't mounted mine and it's just been hanging over the steering column. I was very hesitant about keeping it or not because they offer that 14 days return. The reason why is because I spent $500 on a tuner with three 5 star tunes and then purchased the SVC tune one on top of that, spending now close to $750 total. To me the tune didn't make enough of a difference and possible challenge the warranty considering I purchased an ESP. I only ran the tune for maybe 2,000 miles about 30,000 miles ago and have never put it back on.

I thought this Pedal Commander contraption could turn out to be dud for me like the tune and couldn't imagine that this couldn't do anything different than what my foot could do anyways.

I have to tell you, this is the best performance thing I have ever done. It really does make a difference and something that you CANNOT do with your foot alone. What I always hated was when off-roading, you come up to a dip and you would brake then floor it to transfer the weight and get the front end up and let the suspension do the work and the stupid gas would hesitate making you try to judge it just right. Or when not having the power without left foot braking around a corner to not have the truck power lag in the corner and finally kick in at the wrong moment. From testing this device really helps that even when staying in the lower gears.

Just on the street I've noticed that the shifting is smooth and powerful. I am amazed that something just controlling the gas pedal can make this difference. The only thing that is still touchy to me is when you are in Sport+ and you left off the gas, it lets off too much gas and jerks. Jeff @svc, is there a way to let the gas come off smoother in programming?

Right now I have it on City +3 and love it. I would highly recommend anyone who is hesitate about this to not worry, it really makes a difference. I for one am super happy I got it. Now, I just need to figure out how to finally sell that tuner with tune. I will be taking off the tape and sticking it to my dash!!

Rick ,

Thanks for the feedback! What you described was exactly what sold me when I was doing the behind the scenes trials for the first few monthes. Without trying to replicate the sport+ jerk I can't offer any solutions at this time. Next time I have some free time to play , I will report back if we come up with anything.

As for the tuner , I still owe ya for the expedite airport service that allowed me to make my flight. I will rewrite the SVC tune for free for whoever buys your device.

Always a pleasure and there is nothing better to be rushing to the airport to make a flight. Now you should of said, hey plug this little thing in that I got and we could of made it in time for a restroom break AND your flight. :)

Great review! I think you should run your SVC tune I love mine. I also have the 5 star tunes and the SVC is more to my liking. I have never had Jeff redo the tune since I like it so I assume mine is a V1 or V2 tune. I remove it before dealer work and no one has said a word to me, warranty still intact

Pull trim down with steady pressure. No need to take it all the way off just enough room to pass the cable and connector thru. Tuck excess behind trim. Be sure to mind the steering column and keep cable away so it will not rub.
I had it installed in the same spot.
RFDTS I left my SVC tune alone. If anything its a plus on top of the pedal commander.

Finally had a chance to really try mine out tonight... holy shit. Anything about Sport is just nutty.

I love it! So many different settings and makes torque instant. Totally different than just pushing down on the pedal further. And working in ORM is icing on the cake. Thanks Jefe
