Time for a little review after 3 weeks with Pedal Commander...Definitely worth the cash...At the beginning you would feel like it's just cheating the gas pedal and I was actually quite perplex about it...

But after a few days of daily driving and offroading, I can confirm this is a great buy. Truck litteraly jumps as soon as you step on the gas, and it feels lot more powerful, and this is just in City mode ! Btw I'm running SVC tune (V3) and 37" tires, and I would smoke a stock raptor with 35" with no doubt...I know this doesnt add any HP to the truck but it's like I have 50 more horses under the hood...

Sport Mode would be best choice for fast offroad on wide trails, to remove that sluggish feeling of OffRoad Mode...Sport+ Mode is a little too much for me IMO, but i didnt have the chane to test it on appropriate trails

Good job @svc

Awesome review, thanks again! We are very happy to share such an awesome product with everyone. Like you we were skeptical at first but the difference speaks for it self. I pulled mine off to let some one barrow and was amazed how slow my response was even with a tune.
It takes a few days for your foot to adapt but once it does your hooked

I tested mine out this morning and it makes a huge difference. City mode appears to be plenty for daily driving and I will probably settle in on City +1 or +2 once I get used to it.

I was planning on installing it on the left hand side of the steering wheel, but the cord connects to the main unit on the left side which makes it more difficult. I would like to see what other folks have come up with for an install on the left side of the steering wheel. It would install easy on the left with the main unit upside down, but I don't want to go there just yet.

I tested my out yesterday with 5 city miles and 30 hwy miles. I'm thoroughly impressed so far. I started in sport 2 and was most impressed with high speed shifting. I barely gave it more gas @75 mph and it immediately downshifted very smoothly and had me up to 85 in no time. Then I made a right turn onto city streets in front of traffic and almost snapped my neck from not being used to the pedal yet. I switched to city 2 for the last half of the drive and it was still an improvement over stock! Guessing you'll have to be in eco mode to be below the stock throttle response.

I mounted mine on the left side of the steering column by the steering wheel controls. You can't see what mode your in at a glance, but I think once I get used to the settings I won't be changing them all that often.

I received mine yesterday. Worked late and did not get a chance to install until today. Tried sport+ at +2 but it was too touchy or my foot too heavy. Switched to sport at -2 and like that better. Made a left turn at a light and truck literally jumped across street. Cop at light waiting pretended not to notice, good thing Idid not break traction but almost did. WooHoo this thing is going to be fun. BTW I installed mine on the left of steering wheel, right side up. I can see it fine and changing modes on the fly is just awesome. I Routed cable under the steering wheel behind the pull off trim.

Can you provide a picture or two of your installation?

Got mine Tuesday and did the easy install yesterday afternoon. Just took a quick drive to test it out and my initial impressions are like everyone else. One sweet little device. Tried mainly city mode (like +4 initially) and up to sport mode +2 (just a wee bit easy to smoke the tires). Can't wait to go for a longer drive soon!

Pull trim down with steady pressure. No need to take it all the way off just enough room to pass the cable and connector thru. Tuck excess behind trim. Be sure to mind the steering column and keep cable away so it will not rub.

Thanks for providing the pictures. I was trying to install it in the small area above where you installed yours and there isn't much room to loop the cord around. I'm kind of digging installing it on the steering column since I don't think I will adjust it that often.

Okay, I actually haven't mounted mine and it's just been hanging over the steering column. I was very hesitant about keeping it or not because they offer that 14 days return. The reason why is because I spent $500 on a tuner with three 5 star tunes and then purchased the SVC tune one on top of that, spending now close to $750 total. To me the tune didn't make enough of a difference and possible challenge the warranty considering I purchased an ESP. I only ran the tune for maybe 2,000 miles about 30,000 miles ago and have never put it back on.

I thought this Pedal Commander contraption could turn out to be dud for me like the tune and couldn't imagine that this couldn't do anything different than what my foot could do anyways.

I have to tell you, this is the best performance thing I have ever done. It really does make a difference and something that you CANNOT do with your foot alone. What I always hated was when off-roading, you come up to a dip and you would brake then floor it to transfer the weight and get the front end up and let the suspension do the work and the stupid gas would hesitate making you try to judge it just right. Or when not having the power without left foot braking around a corner to not have the truck power lag in the corner and finally kick in at the wrong moment. From testing this device really helps that even when staying in the lower gears.

Just on the street I've noticed that the shifting is smooth and powerful. I am amazed that something just controlling the gas pedal can make this difference. The only thing that is still touchy to me is when you are in Sport+ and you left off the gas, it lets off too much gas and jerks. Jeff @svc, is there a way to let the gas come off smoother in programming?

Right now I have it on City +3 and love it. I would highly recommend anyone who is hesitate about this to not worry, it really makes a difference. I for one am super happy I got it. Now, I just need to figure out how to finally sell that tuner with tune. I will be taking off the tape and sticking it to my dash!!
