this thing is awesome. in addiction to the tune it feels like it totally elliminated dead spots in the pedal. crisp and instant acceleration, longer gears it just goes like a sports car not a truck. i left it in city mode plus 1 for around town. i can see using eco mode in bad weather otherwise traction would be an issue. sport mode on a street was too much for me. thank you jeff for a great suggestion and great service. now i am worried about a speeding ticket. lol

I got my Pedal Commander and installed it yesterday. Definitely makes a positive difference. Feels like an old school throttle cable instead of laggy electronic drive by wire now. Currently running City +4. Anything beyond that was a bit too touchy/jerky feeling for around town. Regardless, any mode takes a bit to get used to as your muscle memory has to relearn not having to apply so much throttle input to get the desired result. I like that the truck feels more urgent and is more willing to downshift based on the modified throttle position sensor signal.

In other news, the adhesive backing on the Velcro has come loose from my dash at least once even after cleaning with the included alcohol wipe and allowing the surface to dry. Any tips to get it to stay? Seems like it wants to come off anytime to steering wheel is adjusted. I thought about using some small self tapping screws, but I didn't want to add any "permanent" modifications to this install.

I haven't stuck mine on the dash yet, waiting to see if I like it enough to keep it or not. But I noticed in that location there was tension on the cable and causing it to not lay flat. I think if I do place mine, it will be down lower under the 3 vents. Not so much tension there and still leaves the vents open. And you can see it through the steering wheel, that location where you have it, seems to block it.

I found a quick fix for my issue related to cord tension. I had forgotten that my steering wheel tilts AND telescopes. I pulled the steering wheel just barely closer to me and that has removed the interference with the PC cable. All is good now. I can now tilt the steering wheel without it trying to yank my PC off the dash.

First of all thank you Jeff from SVC!!! This thing is awesome!! I have only done a quick drive in city +3. Completely wakes the truck up, just breath on the throttle and it down shifts and rips. Im on a stock tune with an AFE intake and SW lighting cat back. For those who are on the fence, do it!!!

i am just curious to see the gas mileage difference. from driving last night and briefly this morning to the gym the average gas mileage showed 9.9 mpg from 11.3 mpg after the manual reset. my foot was accelerator happy. my truck is not a daily driver since i am in a car business and able to drive the cars i have in my inventory. well time will tell. despite that i just can not see myself going back to the old set up...
its a fraction of cost for the amount of return, ABSOLUTELY worth it a thousand times. Very user friendly an super easy to operate.
Thank you Jeff for a great deal.
