I'm so torn...I was going to re-engage with "doctorate dude" (and I reserve my right to do that later) but now this thread has actually turned into something useful and interesting - a discussion of the PC - and that sucks because, ideally, that should be done in the other PC thread - you know the one that the OP didn't look for or post in.

OK, so here goes, my perception of the PC and its performance is not similar to just mashing on the skinny pedal so I don't agree with the comment that mashing on the go pedal is the same thing. I say that because the response is, IMO, more instantaneous, more immediate with the PC than without it and just flooring the accelerator.

To me the PC is all about response - getting performance much faster than jumping on the go pedal.

Again, this is all my PERCEPTION, but I'm very happy with the PC because it works way better than pushing the pedal to the floor or thereabouts.

Well your right about the perception part. However from a technical standpoint the truth is that full throttle is the same for both. The PC is in fact a "perception " device. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Anything that someone puts on a vehicle that improves their perception of performance delivered by said vehicle and or drivability thereof is more than understandable and probably money well spent. I just prefer my gadgets offer something more tangible than perception tho. Free country right?

Pretty sure that it's opening more than stock...not opening faster to the same point it would have stock. Response would be the speed it opens.

This makes sense to me. So I put my pedal commander on say sport +2 and push down on the pedal with my big foot. (yes big foot not yeti, or abominable snowman, and definitely not sasquatch). Lets call this step 1

I guess step 2 would be the throttle opens "more" than stock. This sounds correct to me.

Step 3 is the truck goes faster as compared to if I did not have a pedal commander installed because of my slow ass yeti foot.

So you are saying that the pedal commander does not make the throttle more responsive but it definitely makes the damn truck itself more responsive for the average yeti. And one could also say that maybe someone like Jimmie Johnson wouldn't like it because in theory you should be able to do the same thing with the stock pedal. I put this on and said "holy shit" like a 90 year old dude who took ****** for the 1st time. You have made me realize that maybe I am just an average yeti. I suppose it is not a "throttle response system" but more of a "Raptor response system" for the average joe.

In my opinion, this device is more about reality and less about perception for us average yetis.

I agree people can post whatever they want or reply to anything . But to complain about a thread because you don’t want to read it is hilarious.

Now why did you have to go and post something that makes sense in this thread. I was enjoying the fight between "I might be dumb but I'm not stupid" vs "I might be stupid but I'm not dumb".

Seriously though, I slapped on the chipwerke plug n play piggyback tune module along with the pedal commander throttle response system and the truck is a beast.
