easy. I called Deaver and asked what do they have for my truck. I do not off-road it etc. I tow and enclosed trailer and tongue weight is high and I am using Timbren. I asked about all the stuff online. He said look for this application we take oem stack and add a steel. We can put it in different location in the stack to adjust height etc. 1 piece is good for 3-400 lbs or so. And won’t adversely affect truck. He quoted me 1200 plus shipping I am like man that’s high for oem stack with a leaf. So I called my local spring shop. He said yup we have done um. They have soft small steel leafs etc. I took it there showed them also it has the famous lean to driver side. He said we can adjust that with steel placement. And they did. Also put in new quit pad and new u bolts etc. now truck sits level and 1 1/2 inch higher and no issues with towing or ass dragging when towing.
empty. It is a little firmer but still not harsh like the 2018 f 250 platinum I had. Still handles and ride very smooth. And cost a lot less. Is this good for you now.

I don't quite understand what you're saying, but a deaver pack is not just an OEM takeoff with an added leaf. I think we need more info there to know what you're talking about. Sounds fishy for sure....
