Painted wheel wells.

Picked up the idea to paint the inner wheel wells from another forum member. They were sort of this over-sprayish blue color so I painted them a semi-gloss black. I also cleaned and painted the rear axle at the same time. Should stay rust free.

White trucks really benefit from this too. I sprayed mine about 2 years ago and overall its held up pretty well. I don't think I prepped well enough though since some spiderwebbing has showed up in some spots.

Looks good!

Prep work is key to painting. I scrubbed everything with wax and grease remover before spraying. I also used rustoleum semi-gloss black which seems to go on smooth.

looks clean very nice! since my trucks black already that over spray covers a lot of the wheel wells but you can tell towards the inside of it and another good idea to paint the axle to keep it from rusting i've spotted a few rust spots on my rear diff cover and some other little spots

I too did this. I used the best available rattle can 3m professional undercoating and am VERY happy with it.
