I really like that light bar, now that I've seen one mounted the right way!
I had a customer come into my shop & a local custom truck shop had mounted his backwards (with the light directly above the moonroof):idiot:

iSurvive.....that truck is bad ass. Where did you get your light bar above your windshield?

Thanks! The light bar is a RIGID 50" Flood/Spot Combo LED. The brackets are also RIGID. RIGID Industries. Retail $1,599 LED and $285 brackets. You can shop around and probably find some deals.

The install is a pain in the butt!! Worth it though!

Painted rings

How did you remove the rings? Can you remove the rings keeping air in the tires? Or do you have to park the truck while the rings are getting painted?

Thanks

Installed the painted rings......I really like the way they look now. Paintshop did an excellent job of matching colors. Before, the silver rings stood out since nothing else was silver on the truck. I also put a thin nylon washer behind each Torx screw when reinstalling the rings.

These wheels are capable of being converted to true beadlocks with the Ford Racing rings (part # M-1021-F15RA), but in stock configuration the rings are just decorative. Yes, you can remove them and still drive the truck.

Do you know of any aftermarket rings that come in different colors or do you just have to have them painted?

Got a 14 tuxedo blk on the way and want to get rid of that silver ring and paint and or replace it with blk...

I doubt any aftermarket rings have the same bolt pattern or fitment as the factory ones. Easy to just remove and have painted.

I'm pretty sure the bead lock rings have a 24 bolt pattern and the street rings have a 12. I saw something that explained this on youtube a couple hours ago. DoingOK had the same idea as me, I just took my time about it. After seeing his results, I think I'm still gonna have em painted and maybe even set them up w beadlocks and 37's (along w all the other mods that go with it) sometime in the future.

Hopefully this is a good link for that video.

Rings look good. I think what would also look good is if you sprayed your orange mirror reflectors the same blue.
