Painted Body Color Skid Plate Anyone?

Think i'm gonna go the Spray on Bedliner route for mine(magnetic). I did the inside of my jeep hardtop(it was white) and it turned out great. It drys very evenly so I don't have to worry about being a pro-painter.

I’d like to see how this works out for you. I also have Magnetic.

Somebody on this thread offered the opinion that painting the skid plate black resulted in too much black in front.
My opinion: That's impossible.

I'd love to do this mod, but one trip to the desert and my freshly painted skid plate is back to factory! Looks really good though

what's good about spray can bedliner is that its so each to touch up. Super easy to put on. A lot easier than paint. And as for your desert riding, are you sure that bedliner wouldn't kinda do its job. Again though, i am a pavement driver so i have no idea what desert driving is like(wish i did though)!

Looks killer. I’m gonna have to do this. Care to share what brand spray-in bed liner you used and any tips for application. I’m more engine, suspension and wiring guy. Painting isn’t my forté. [emoji41]
