Hey, PurpleHayes (and anyone else with paint concerns)! Send me your info in a PM so I can check out ways to help. I'll need your full name, best daytime phone number, VIN, mileage, and servicing dealership.

Lol... Watch out for that kind of request. The Orange peel on the raptor paint is pretty bad and most every one has it. I think black does the best job hiding it.

After detailing my truck for the first time, I did notice tiny blemishes(specks of dirt, etc.) in the clear and most of the paint had orange peal. I'm not too stressed about it. A few runs in the desert and it won't matter.

Ouch, You've got a bigger problem then me. First with the contamination and then the paint sags in the base coat. The blue and the metallic are sprayed at the same time. I'm surprised paint inspection did not catch this. If we sent something like that out of our paint system where I work Ford would rip us a new *******. We make and paint several parts for the big three including the wheel flares for regular F150's.
Question did you order or buy off the lot your truck? Either way, for what you paid for your truck I would bring it to their attention. They should not have let that leave the assembly plant period.

I ordered it. Yeah it ****** me off.. Lol I swear I find more and more every time I wash it..

Update: Ford rep has contacted me by voice mail. I will call back tomorrow. Crystal has given me a case number and My dealership called me wanting better pictures than the ones they took. I told him I had them showing the difference in the reflection with the beer cans. I sent him my pictures this evening. So far I'm very pleased in the speedy response by everyone.

It looks like things are headed in the right direction, PurpleHayes. Give me a shout if there's anything else I can do to help.
