I agree about the shelters but I have been waiting for these for along time. I donate money to shelters all the time.

I think I read the tag, tore it off and threw it out. If I remember it was cold water gentle detergent wash, line or low heat tumble dry. The backing is a textured kind of poly something ?? I wouldn't think it would like a lot of heat or harsh detergent. Orvis has chat available at certain times...could probably run it by them if it is a big concern.

The location of Ace's regal shot was along the Snake River somewhere near Wilson or Jackson WY. Not sure where exactly that was taken and what is in the background...something near the Tetons though.

I give lots of support to the local no-kill shelter and doggie adoption service. For myself and a 15 year +/- family commitment...knowing the background, temperament and health issues are priceless.

RE: the bolsters for in front of the bench seats...if you thought the dogs needed more space maybe?? As it is, they have probably the largest rear seat of any pickup built, I think they can figure out where the seat ends. Plus it keeps them from coming too far forward and bugging me while driving.

The hammock could be improved with higher side curtains that clipped into the window ledge to keep the dogs and dirt off from the arm rests and window controls....but no biggy. Ace is good...it is the damn soft-coated wheaten terrier that drives me nuts.

I can relate to the land shark comment.. Still going through puppyhood with Tug and have the cuts and scars to prove it!! :jester:

I actually ordered this hammock setup last night. This looks like an ideal setup with the exception of crates.

Hey did you ever order one of these? I was wondering if the large would fit the back seat of our scab or if a XL was need. Going to pick up my pups in the next couple weeks.

I did and am going to mount it it up right now. I have to board my pooches tonight so I'll grab a pic of it installed for you. I went with the large.

Are you getting one of the siblings from your males litter? Two is definitely better then one. When my dogs aren't sleeping, all they do is wrestle with each other and could care less about anything else.

I bought the large Orvis Backseat Protector (56x53) for my Scab. The length is perfect, but it was a tight fit for the straps that go around the rear headrests. I thought about exchanging for the XL, 62x62, but that maybe too big, especially the length.
