Uhm. No. The factory liner is not Line-x. Line-x is great. The factory is crap. No prep and terrible adhesion.

It's also much thinner and they leave uncoated spots like behind the pickup box ports, bottom of the tailgate, etc. Line-X really is a far superior product for a similar price.

I ordered mine with the factory liner and I think it's great! I've heard issues with Line-x and people having trouble with the remote tailgate drop. I have no issues at all with the factory spray-in.

Biggest advantage I see with Line-x is that if you want to do the wheel wells, it is cheaper if you are already getting a bedliner installed. Also, if you do plan on going with Line-x, do some research and see where people are having trouble with the tailgate and either plan on doing the mod where they cut the rubber pieces or have the Line-x installer spray less on the areas that keep the tailgate from shutting correctly (or whatever the problem is).

I'd recommend Line-x, because when you bring it to them you can request that they DO NOT Line-x the bed bolts.

Factory is great and the grommets come out no problem. They didn't just spray them in permanently.
