I put in an order for the R over a month ago. This past week I got confirmation of the order from Ford. Order priority is a 10. Does this mean I stand a good chance of getting it or should I be looking elsewhere?

You have obviously much more experience, and spent much more time on the forum having over 600 posts than likely 95% of the folks on here. I imagine your taking the time to type what you did to him/her, rather than answering (likely taking about the same time), makes you somehow feel better or something...

That is the highest order code a dealer can assign. Lucky!

It’s just an order confirmation meaning your order is in. But it’s still unscheduled. Only you get VIN you can confirm it will be built.
