Went through all the process at a local DFW dealer which indicated they'd be selling at MSRP for being local and all that BS - used their own Custom Order link and got told they'd be hearing back from Ford once accepted. Lo and behold, I get a call today stating "Dealer Mgmt. pushed a message today that all Raptors will be selling +15K over MSRP, sorry for the mix up, all new cars will continue to sell at MSRP, except the Raptor"...of course that threw me off since I was at the very top of the list when bank orders opened.

Now I'm waiting on another dealer to try and squeeze +1 allocation...highly doubt it but got nothing to lose, since this new dude promised that his dealership WILL NOT practice that ADM crap (his very own words)...

So guys, to all of you who got told they won't sell over MSRP, you might wanna double check...and if you do get MSRP, kudos to you all.

I feel you, man. My dealer of 9 years and 4 vehicles promised me the same, then wasted my time SLOWLY putting in an order just to say that they were $15K over. I found another dealer to hook me up at MSRP, but it was their very last allocation. They are 45 min away and it took a whole Saturday of calling around and waiting for calls back today.

Be patient, do your homework and call around. Time is not on your side as allocations are limited, but there are still allocations out there and dealers willing to build lasting relationships by not using predatory pricing practices.

Just a bunch of greedy fat sales managers that don't give a shit about customers! Nothing has changed since I sold cars for Ford 20 years ago. My sales manager forced me to sell a 2003 V6 Mustang to this really nice lady who was a payment buyer for OVER sticker! I'll never forget it!:banghead:

The way to do away with ADMs is for everyone to grow a brain and simply not pay them. Just wait. Be patient. Paying ADM, no matter how much money you have, is just ******* stupid. That money is immediately burned when you drive off the lot. Just wait a little bit and don’t give in to instant gratification. It’s very simple.

It’s not that simple when someone to who an extra $15k is the equivalent of me saying “keep the change” when handing over a $20 bill for a $17 check. When someone wants something now, and has the cash, they can do that.
