It can't be "literally the last 2017 produced". That one has already been sold.

The Last 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Just Sold For $157,000

Damn. Talk about a markup-- at least this went to a good cause and the extra above MSRP is likely tax deductible.

I'm pretty sure the configurator for the MY '18 will go live on 5/15/17 because they updated the configurator recently

I'm very interested to see how allocations are handled for 2018. I'm hoping that every dealer just doesn't get them all in the beginning and thus has to sell trucks to get more allocation. Of course, that would only really help if they also increase production to meet demand.

Dealer called me today and said they had an allocation with my name on it (I've been on their list for over a year now). I called and was shocked when they said it was for a 2017. Since they are charging MSRP (and will on every truck ordered) I deferred my spot to put myself in line for a 2018 instead. Can't see buying literally the last 2017 produced, since I already waited so long. Here's to hoping the 2018 gets the cruise control that stops you to 0 in traffic (the only thing I really want from the tech package).

Note: dealer is an recommended reputable dealer often mentioned on this forum, so I have no doubt that they actually were given an extra allocation for a 2017, so as it turns out ordering doesn't seem to be closed.

Which dealer is that? Do they have any 18 spots?
