Order date-Pull date-build date and arrival date

That would be awesome. I was figuring on at least the end of January before I would see it. Curious as to how long before my dealership calls with the vin and build date. I think they're clueless about the whole process.

I can't keep monitoring this thread. Seems like everyone who ordered around the same time or later than me are getting pulls, VINs, build dates and all kinds of shit. When I ordered on October 19 the dealer told me up front to expect a February delivery so I knew I had a wait in front of me but.....damn. This whole Ford allocation process is confounding to say the least and I think I'm getting ******! I know, who am I? Some ******* new guy waiting for a Raptor so I should just get in line and quit whining like some pansy, right? Sorry, I'm ranting. See ya.

I heard from my dealer about the Vin # but nothing on the build date. I got that from Blood. I want to see how long it takes them to call me with that.

I asked the GM at my dealership about these waits and how some folks get orders pulled quickly while others don't. He told me a lot has to do with the dealership and the owners and how many units they sell. You choose a high volume dealership or a large dealership group you get things much faster. He said his dealership was number two in the southeast in Raptor sales. He said small dealerships simply are put at the end of the line for special orders.

How do you know if your dealer is large volume on Raptors?

It has to do with if they have any allocations for Raptors. The larger dealers get more allocations because they sell more Raptors. All you would have to ask your dealer when your thinking of placing the order is they have an allocation for a Raptor. Ford won't pull the order without one.

If you call SVT they will confirm not pulling an order unless the dealer has an allocation for one.

SVT said my order is shown and approved (they said they call that "clean") but not scheduled, so I have no idea. Ordered 4 weeks ago so still got some waiting to do....

Did they say the order was pulled?

They will accept the order with no allocation but will not pull it and assign it a vin#
