My dealership provided me with the email of their regional zone rep(the person who gives the dealership their allocations) and I contacted them and got the specifics of how many allocations for 35s and 37s the dealership would be receiving for that particular drop of initial allocations.I ordered raptor 37 with allocation this Morning and had raptor order confirmation email from ford. but is any way I can check the dealer really order with their allocation or not?
I confirmed my allocation the way i stated above and received VIN 3 weeks later. If I have Vin number in 8-12weeks then they order with allocation.. if not then... they just took $250 deposit... ??
They’re really not supposed to be end customer facing (basically serve the dealership). I know who mine is but would still try to exhaust working through dealership first. Don’t want them to end up like those poor guys at Ford Performance with 100s of people calling them daily. My dealership provided me with the email of their regional zone rep(the person who gives the dealership their allocations) and I contacted them and got the specifics of how many allocations for 35s and 37s the dealership would be receiving for that particular drop of initial allocations.
Well you can ask for the sales manager to confirm with the zone rep they actually have an allocation for a 37. TBH, highly unlikely that your dealer still has a 37 allocation. Allocations were released in October and only ~25% of the allocations are for 37s…I ordered raptor 37 with allocation this Morning and had raptor order confirmation email from ford. but is any way I can check the dealer really order with their allocation or not?
While yes, it is unorthodox it’s probably the only real way of getting “confirmation” unless u really really trust your dealership and their word. They’re really not supposed to be end customer facing (basically serve the dealership). Likely they just put your order in without an allocation…. Hopefully they will get a future allocation and hopefully it will be applied to your order. Last year dealers only got allocations once. They don’t know yet if they will get anymore. Let’s hope they do.
