progressive by-pass.jpg
Well my new mod has little cost other than time and my labor.
Since this design is similar to the FOX position sensitive shocks from a while back and I massaged those for my liking.
So I tapped and plugged the original single by-pass hole and went with a series of smaller holes in a progressive design and based on my ride height of rear and the piston position at in relation to shock position. Did some math from the sq. in. of area of the single hole and distributed over a range of travel, not just on/off as it s factory. I am going to approach the fronts for similar, since mid perch moves the piston position at the new ride height.
I approve of this message....

Okay, so I have been dieing to dig into the front shocks and add shrader valves for gassing. I also plugged the original by-pass hole that is out of position due to perch adjustment. I also want a staggered by-pass/position sensitive configuration, so I drilled 4 smaller holes at 3/4" intervals and down to where the piston is at when at ride height. I also went don fro 120 Compression valing to 100. I also removed some of the length of the rubber jounce stop.

2 way radio wiring oldschool

Ok, since the how to area is not user friendly, I will embedded this in my build thread. Ok, the oldschool way to cut down on noise and static is to use coax cable for your power leads, this way it is shielded. Use the center conductor to apply the hot + side and the braid for ground. Do NOT run your wires and coax parallel to other wire looms. I ran mine in the frame as far as I could to use it as added shielding. See pictures...

Strip the wire back tin the wires and solder them. I use shrink tubing where ever I can, hate electrical tape.....

Use RG 213 or RG 213 to handle the current. DO NOT use RG 58 or 59 it will not carry current for high power radios. Use ferite chokes on power lones and coax lines. Add a fuse at the start of the battery run. Put strain reliefs of some sort, I piggy backed a large black zip tie with smaller ties to support the vibrations our trucks get when off road.
Hope you find the usefull!!!

OSP out:everything:
