"makes note to self" can side swipe small cars with no damage to truck

Not quite. Some luck is involved. I had a similar experience the FIRST day I owned mine. Passing a bus in the number 2 lane,I had a long hair wearing a dress shirt, tie and blue jeans with the license plate,"BRVHRT" driving so far up my ass I couldn't see him in both sides and the rear view. He was driving a midget mitsufishy. I passed the bus, checked over the shoulder then the right side, all clear. Looking straight ahead accelerating into the,"Slow lane" This dolt slung shot and ended up driving under my right rear wheel. It felt like someone was trying to lift the right rear up,and started to turn me right. I counter steered and accelerated out of it only to look in my mirrors to see the POS ahole on the side of the road. Enough time for me to meditate and realize homicide wasn't an option. Our rear bumpers are the weakest, flimsiest bumpers on a truck I've ever seen. You can easily bend them by hand. My damage?
My r/r tire sidewall lost a couple ply's like Greg, passenger side rear bumper pushed into the pipe tips and lower body panel aft of the wheel well. A gouge in three spots on my wheel, and a shot fender flair. The others ride was totaled. I ended up over his drivers fender and hood almost all the way to his windshield. Broken front drivers shaft. Well maybe not totaled but he wasn't going anywhere. Verdict? They said I was at fault. I cut him off. No witnesses and I was out of state. :flipthebird:
Glad to hear no one was hurt and the damage was minimal Greg. You may want to replace that tire if you drive it like you stole it. You don't want a weak side wall.

Nice! Good move on calling the cops as well. Can't be too careful. I had a guy on a motorcycle drop it in front of me and try to claim it was my fault, it didn't work for him since I was proactive about calling the cops and my insurance.

thats why when im driving anywhere other than where im from, ive got a camera going.

but why would they call it your fault, if you had cut him off the damage would have been different then what you described... unless he accelerated into you after you cut him off, which still, his fault.
some people are so gay. :supergay:

Weak bumpers?

Well apparently we have the strongest plastic fender flares known to man. Those are pics of when a chick hit my truck while she was backing out. If our bumpers were really that weak it would have bent. Right? There wasn't a scratch on it.
