One and ONLY gas mileage thread please

tried a little experiment over weekend, filled up to the brim with 93 octane ( 10%) ethonal , jumped on interstate ,, well my buddy did as he was driving,, i just riding,,drove for 233 miles at 79 -80 mph, averaged, had to pass a few, slow a bit but for the most part rt on 79-80 ,stopped once , then back on it. pulled into gas station and filled to brim , 17.1 gallons. that works out to 13.6 miles per gallon. on board computor read 12.9. this is in a 2013 screw. and yes , i had reset at start of drive. Why do you think there is such a diffrence with the on board being wrong ?

depends on where your located, premium by me is 91, except Husky sells 94 but it has 10% ethanol

Not sure what changed in our area over the last 2 weeks, but both my cousin's Ecoboost and my Raptor have gained around 2mpg. I'm avg mid 15's right now with my normal commute.

Most are 87, 89, 93 here. Sunoco is the only station with 91 and most have some ethanol

Yup, but we normally start getting summer blend around April.

maybe you got some good corn ethanol from sd^ you know it's a by product from making ddg (dried distillers grain). The ddg used to be the by product now the feeders want it so bad it almost costs more than regular corn.
