the only problem with ethanol is they put it in crappy gas to make the crappy gas run an engine. If you can get quality gas like me with 30% ethanol in it you would know what I'm talking about. ethanol needs no additive it is the additive!

Freshly reset will show higher mpg. After you run several tanks without resetting economy screen it will slowly creep back down..

Damn you! I was excited about that mileage. Lol. I didn't think too much about the mileage until I to closer to home. I drove about 4 miles with the cruise set at that speed. It never went below 21 though. It was nuts. I'll have to do some more driving then I guess.

Yes, you will ALWAYS get much higher mpg when you reset the gauge. Then it just starts dropping and dropping. Mine jumps to about 16, then always settles back to 11.5 mpg. Nine months of the exact same behavior.

Real World Gas Numbers

Just did a round trip to Lake Tahoe from San Diego (around 1100 miles).
Facts: No Mods on the engine / Backflip F1 / Running 32 x 12.50 R20 Toyo MT's / Time each way = 9 hrs. Avg speed around 70 mph / Gas Mileage on readout = 14.3 mpg. I'm happy with it and thought someone else may be looking or want to see some long travel numbers.

Your actual MPG is probably about 12.9-13.5 if its reading 14.3

use fuelly.com if you want to track it over time.

11.1 and dropping, avg since I got it was 11.1. 22k miles on it. I only use 91 octane

I was between 11.2 and 11.3 with the stock tires.

Now its gone down to 11.1 and I expect it to keep on dropping (top perch has a lot of wind resistance when going 114mph on highway, so I hear)
