averaging 14 now. 3k miles in one month. Mix of city and highway. 87 octane

mid perch seems to have had a small effect. Haven't done an alignment yet, so that may improve numbers some.

will also change the oil at 5k. 5w20. It may have a small effect as well.

I think the biggest trick will involve tuning AFR and timing
I plan on purchasing complete tuning hardware and software to figure out the sweet spots
possible distribution? possibly.

I now get 10 mpg while pulling my 27' travel trailer. I just hit 23000 miles. I think the WSI springs actually made the towing mileage 1 mpg better with the higher rear end.

Pretty sure everyone gets winter blend fuel, I know mine goes down even if it's warm when I go through a tank of fuel.

probably have to use better quality gas in the winter so the water don't freeze. Yes all gas has water in it ethanol just takes it out makes it separate.

Todays test. Actually it was a 2 day test.

I punched trip B when I left yesterday. First stop was 90 miles to the dealer for an oil change/check up. It was on 18.6. Then drove to Spokane and around town 2 days and back home today. It's on 17.4 (just over 300 miles). I crossed several hills and river valleys. Low point, Snake river, was 645' elevation. High point was 2565. At leas6 times there were 600-1000' elevations changes, my point being it was not driving on flat land. Average speed was under 60, with most areas posted 60, some in the winding hills 55 and one flat stretch was 65. I DO stay at the speed limited for several reasons, unmarked HP's being one......

I punched trip A several months ago. Have not towed since it was punched. It's on 16.4. Over all for 10,211 miles it is on 14.9. Around 3500 of the 10,211 is towing miles.

My conclusion and probably the last post I'll make on this subject is that the truck will get 16-17 mpg for the average driving I do when not towing. I drive on 90++% 2 lane roads and most are posted 55-60. Use the speed control and stay in the limits, life's to short as it is.
