Seems like tire pressure has a greater effect on mpg's with these huge tires as compared to other vehicles. Air 'em up til they're hard as rocks and you'll notice better fuel economy.

6.2L - Combo city/freeway/traffic. Lots of hills.

12.8 (87)
13.5 (91)

I get approx 14.5 when traffic is light.

6.2 3800 miles
11.7 mpg 93 octane
off-road: 8.6 mpg 93 octane

I'm going to try the e86 since i have easy access to it to see the numbers from that. I have always run 92 or 93 octane, but i'll change if the others are just as good, and don't ware on the engine.

Be careful the 6.2 in the Raptor isn't compatible with e85.

6.2, 1700 miles.
I can't average better than 12.4 mixed city and freeway, slow commute, easy on the pedal. When I reset the calculator and cruise at 60-70mph, near sea level, no real hills to speak of, I average 13.3, and that is if I only breath on the pedal. I don't think I'll ever see 14.

Just did a 450 mile round trip to see my brother. Averaged 14 on the trip mostly highway at 70 to 80 miles per hour. the truck now has 980miles on it. I think I'll average 14-15 on the road and that will be ok to have as much power and comfort that this thing has. Around town its 8-10mph. City traffic is too stop an go and I live in the heart of town. Surprisingly my eb with the slobbering 306 hotrod motor does better on the highway at 16mpg.
The 78 gets 8 in town and 12 on the highway. Good thing I don't drive much!!!:)
