After running around in the woods at Rausch Creek with @RaptizedBK, I got bit by the Raptor bug. So recently, after spending another weekend fixing my F350 6.0, i realized that I hate diesels, don't need one for Home Depot hauls, and should get something fun. Well... that's not exactly what happened but when searching for a F150, I came across a 2010 Raptor 5.4 SCAB and jumped at the idea. Bought it from a 63 yr old retired Marine (hence the plates) who was fastidious about maintenance. A few days later, she's in my driveway and the modding frenzy has begun. Crappy 2010 reflector headlights required Morimoto XB LEDs and blown factory foxes of course required Icon 3.0's all around and RPG bump stops.

Sucks it's not the 6.2, but I have other fast vehicles and keeping my eyes peeled for a e-force supercharger.

Welcome to the place and congrats on a beautiful Gen 1. You can order the s/c but I believe there is a waiting period, it would give you plenty of power as well. Being that you're form the NE, check that the factory tape is still in place on the back side of the rockers, we replace that with gorilla tape every few years as it dries out and starts to peel off, you don't want dirt getting in there. Lots of tips on preventative maintenance on here or just ask.

Sadly it already has rocker rust. It's not too bad but I'll likely replace the rockers in the spring.

As far as the s/c, it's also prob not in the cards for a while anyhow. Too many other projects including a paxton s/c'd foxbody 93 cobra tribute and LS 383 stroker FJ40 build that i have to finish first.

Figure when the weather gets warmer and other projects are finished, I'll do the 5.4 timing chain & oil pump and possibly a DOB GT 5.4 kit or try and find a e-force.

Hello, and welcome to the gen 1 crew. I love and enjoy my 6.2, but I too have faster vehicles in the fleet, including a supercharged 1,000 hp 93 Mustang Cobra magazine feature car. So, yeah, Raptor owners tend to be "car guys."
