You say that as if there was an acceleration problem to begin with. None with with Gen 2, at least not with mine, and I don’t suspect there will be one with the Gen 3. So again, what’s the point or your point?

”judging acceleration potential”…the only useful thing you said. Thanks! Lifelong learner here!!
Lol. Where did I imply there was a problem again? Your insecurities are showing

Without the TRX, this thread wouldn’t exist. Sigh.
Yes and no...

I think people are too hung up on it because of the TRX, but the 0-60 time for me is a representation of how well a vehicle puts power to the ground. Horsepower and power-to-weight ratio can give you insight, but they are just indicators of potential. I personally haven't ever bought a vehicle without looking up acceleration times. I just like to know what my vehicle is capable of and how it will handle itself in various situations.

But to your point, there is perhaps too much conversation about it as it relates to the Raptor. That being said, if the 0-60 time for the Raptor were in the 8 second range, I likely would not buy one. I would be too frustrated by its sluggishness...

I mean I guess so, but in my opinion there is no such thing as a fast truck, you’re going to be slow no matter what lugging around 3+ tons. It’s just not the purpose of the Raptor.

I think he does say something like almost 7000 feet and 100° but yes I’m waiting to see someone at a normal altitude on a normal temperature day can achieve. Because there’s quite a big difference between five and seven

I have a TRX, and yes it’s fast and big. So this is my weekend to play with. My 37 has been in production for almost 4 weeks and can’t wait. I drove a non 37 3rd gen the other day. Technology and feel, mpg, great truck. Yes, I’ll have two trucks, but they are really different. Here’s a pic attached of both together at Raptor test drive. Someone canceled the orange, it is a little bright . But loved text driving it.
