Just did mine a couple weeks ago on a 6.2, working on my whipple install now. I used the service manual I bought to get all the torque specs and prodecure ford recommends, here is a link to some mustang guys doing it on a 5.0:

It's almost the exact came procedure, except we don't have to remove the water pump or the thermostat housing, only the water pump pulley, and the power steering pump has to be unbolted from the front cover, and you need to disconnect the pressure side of the pump to take the bolts out for it. I'd recommend getting the service manual, I think I spent like $90 on mine online and got like a 12,000 page pdf file showing literally every procedure and part for the truck. Also ford says to remove the oil pan, this isn't necessary, you just have to be very careful not to drop the 2 bolts for hte oil pickup tube. One thing that gave me a little more space that I did since I'm installing the supercharger anyway was to remove the intake manifold before I started, just gave me a lot more room up top to work in.
