I got my R in Aug. '23. Changed oil in September when I hit 1k miles. I have a total of 3200 miles on it today. Amsoil 5w50 with roughly 2200 miles on the oil. Oil life is down to 18%. I'm guessing it's set to a year OR 5K miles from the factory? I'm tempted to reset the oil life and just change it @ 5K and go every 5K from there.
Does anyone think my oil should be changed with only 2200 miles on it? That isn't cheap either!

Warranty wise it is 12m or miles driven between oil changes. After warranty with semi regular use I might let it go 18m depending on how stored. All the stuff in modern oil probably breaks down and causes issues. Best way to truly know is oil analysis and compare after 12/18/24m if driven rarely. Good luck with the Raptor

My 24R was changed about 4k miles ago, warning just went off saying I'm at 5% oil life. Not sure what the interval is set to.

What is the factory oil change interval supposed to be on the R? I would never go with the 10k interval on the 3.5 …good grief. Does the R have a 5K ford maintenance interval?

The oil life is monitor is based on time. That’s it. Change it once a year or every 5K, whatever comes first. If it were me, chose an oil that contains military grade storage protection as a good measure.
