Wait... what? I thought the best time to change your oil is during a tornado or hurricane.

I only did it because today was the only chance I was going to have for the next 2 weeks and it was already a week overdue.

Your engine will understand being 3 weeks late so it doesn't have to be bathed in oil.

Ok ok i know an engine is an inanimate object, BUT IT HAS FEELINGS.

OMG, no sh.t!!!! I made that mistake on Sunday.... Truck asked for an oil change.... TRR14 is in a few days.... I figured why not....

In all fairness to the OP, I think anyone who does their own oil changes has done this at one time or another, I know I have. It's just one of little things we learn by doing.
