Hopefuly it stops storming. Got snow Thursday..
Yeah I went through over a dozen snowstorms the past three days, but made it in to Reno last night and was glad to see it's dry here.
At one point Thursday morning I was slowed down to 25, in 4H, to get up this mountain road near Yellowstone. Couldn't see 30 feet in front but knew from some spots there was more than a 100 foot drop off on my right. Fun stuff.
They definately got the award for the most snow though. I'll post a pic when I can get it off my blackberry, pulled over just outside of West Yellowstone - the damn snowbanks were taller than my truck!
...now let's see who comes in here and scolds us both.
No scolding required lol - y'all are big boys and know the difference between right and wrong.
I've had similar experiences getting chased by the man out of party spots or wheeling where we just shouldn't have been. That just adds to the adrenalin rush. Be smart about the escape route though, as 5-6 trucks coming out of a muddy set of trails are pretty damn easy to track...
But your right - mid-20's is when I started to take more stock in important things in life. Getting married pretty much killed the toys thing for a few years as times were tight so work prevailed.
But now I'm 37, and this truck has renewed my vigor for playing with vehicles again. On the trip down here (which should have been 18 hours, but I made it almost 30) I was constantly getting sidetracked on dirt roads or little trails just for the helluvit. It felt good to be 18 again!
Illegal, Trespassing? maybe - but I was respectful and didn't tear shit up, leaving no evidence. Most of them looked to be hunting access roads so if it didn't have a gate or mailbox - I could plead ignorant.
Bottom line is, if you gut tells you its wrong, then there will probably be consequences. If you can rationalize it without any harm to others or their property, then it's probably alright
