Hahaha, I understand. An OBD unlock is not something COBB is working on, so that's why I said I think it may come after a while, like they did with Porsche.
They need to get a bench unlock done before anything else

Perhaps. Or prohibitively expensive. But if it can be locked, it can be unlocked.

Yeah.
Porsche required a bench unlock for the longest time.
COBB figured out how to obd unlock after a few years. But it took some time

Hey W,
If this ever happens will there be support for the R? I'm more interested in putting the vehicle into valet mode to prevent theft.
That would be a question for COBB, I don't think they will support the R. But maybe!

I wouldn't need a tune but anti theft and more importantly valet mode and maybe TCM tune.
