On the road I don't like the linear throttle feel either but off road is a different story. Makes it so you are able to control power slides all the way through the corner with WAY more throttle control. Damn is it April yet?

With regards to T/H mode I think it's actually a pretty intelligent system. When I've got a real load on (enclosed trailer) it will absolutely down shift after a brake tap going down hill. With T/H and no load it does not do this. How it knows I'm not sure but I use the feature all the time when hauling my trailer to save the brakes and not having to fool around with the +/- buttons.

I was told from SVT that you absolutely DON'T use ORM on the street. When I pushed for a reason all he said was it will trigger a line of problematic conditions. And they were able to realize from the TC module that it was used on road and would not be covered under warranty.

The only real problem why you would not want to run ORM on the street that I can really think about is the locking rear dif.

In ORM it will not unlock at speed and you could damage the rear end going around a turn on pavement.

When I took my truck in to the dealer with the complaint I posted here about having to come to a complete stop to engage ORM,the tech called SVT on speaker with me in the managers office. I was told the complete stop to engage was also normal, and that the 5 mph was an arbitrary number from a rolling stop. He asked specifically if ORM had been used on the street. (which it never has been) in my possession.
BTW I read that the locking diff automatically disengages in ORM at around 25 MPH.
