Something capable of supporting the vehicles full weight. The cab counts for that. Especially since it holds over 4x's the weight.

Ahhh, Gotcha....! Checked out the drive, Seems a bit far for last minute being we just made it back from Texano, I would love a rain check though! Could even pack the banshee during the next go round if I can make it then.......

We're coming 8 hours from Omaha. Would be cool if you can make it!

No roll cages needed in production trucks, just whip with an orange flag. Weather looked decent last I looked, slight chance of rain Saturday highs in the 70-80's only down to mid 50's i think. But it is Oklahoma and it changes every day. Also the dunes physically alter the local weather, rain and storms usually go around the area due to the higher heat from the sand. Its only a 2 1/2 hr drive for us so we will be makin it out there to hang with you guys. If it does rain or sprinkle a bit it will make it alot easier for you guys to get around, its pretty deep loose sand when its dry for a long time.

H/S and down which is when the familes all cone out. It is usually always busy early fall when its nice out.

Dang. I looked online and did a mass search online to see if there were groups of anything coming and it doesn't look like it. We seem to be the only planned online group. Hopefully the wind smoothed out the sand

Man I wish I could. It's a 12hour + hike and I just come back from that way. You guys will sure have a great time though, I'll catch up with you's. I'm all the way down in Louisiana.

Yeah, that's a hike for sure.

Okie, glad your going to make it!

Getting ready for the trip, doing some of the Food shopping tonight.
Don't know if we'll need it, but what kind of recovery gear and tools will we have in the group?
I have some basic stuff and the winch on the truck. Don't have many tools.

I have straps and clevis. That winch is about the only thing you need, though as long as you got the wiring issues worked out!
