Received this from my dealer this morning.

Hey Buddy,

This is the response that I received from our ford rep. I’m sure that you’re ready to get this bad boy here, and so are we:

In regards to Raptors:
F150’s and Raptors are being released and shipped each day, just a very slow process, there are thousands to be tested/inspected, released and then shipped.

There is Nothing wrong with the Raptors, all 17MY F150’s and 17MY Raptors have to be tested/ inspected before they are shipped.

An estimated 44 Raptors have been shipped to the state of Texas over the past 30 days.
The plant is working 24/7 on releasing these units.

They are coming but slowly. The first Raptor arrived on December 9th in Dallas (SO GOOD NEWS!)

UPDATE:

For what it's worth, my dealer just texted me a screen shot from their systems showing me my Order Number and VIN is now IN TRANSIT!

Build date was 10/23 and it's been in limbo at Ramp 59 ever since.

The image was from their "Ford Order Fulfillment Vehicle Visibility" screen and shows the Primary Status as "In Transit" and the Secondary Status as "Arrived at Junction Point (Norfolk Southern Corp)" in Salem, IL.

That's a 469 mile journey in the right direction (Houston)! We'll see how it continues to progress but it looks like this is the first/one of the first confirmed October builds on the move I've heard about.

As of today, text from dealer shows my truck in Pine Bluff, AR. Another 448 Miles closer to Houston in two days! At this rate, it should be here in another two days!

Only problem is, they did confirm it is coming (so far) via train, so who knows how much additional time may be added for car switches, rail yard holds, or transfers to one or multiple semi carriers for the final voyage.

At least it's showing progress!

Oct build base scab

One of the very few base scab's with forged wheels. 10/14 build date has stayed the same the entire time but can't get cotusb.ford website to kick out anything. Gives an error that says to contact my dealer for a status. ETIS has always worked and gives the same basic info as the window sticker. One interesting date I can't find anything about is the date on the bottom center of the window sticker which has bounced back and forth between 12/6/16, 12/9/16, and tonight now says 12/14/16. Any ideas? Build date on window sticker has always stayed 10/14/16. Searching through 100's of pages of BS is not my idea of fun. The new, no BS thread was very helpful but didn't have info on this piece of data on the window sticker that I found.

From what I read earlier, the bottom date is the date the window sticker is updated in Ford's system. I don't believe it has anything to do with any movement or production issues. Could be wrong.
